An opal glass diffuser in polypropylene shaped using a thermoforming technique - later torqued and welded - to create a graceful, slender, retro object illuminated by a central florescent light source which is inserted lengthwise. The lamp is finished with a satin, anodized steel frame, which endows it with a decidedly austere look.
